Apprenticeship Description & Details
This four-year program is sponsored by the Iowa Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) and is designed to provide classroom and lab instruction as well as work experience for the associate.
Candidates selected for this program will be classified as a full-time associate of Halvorson Trane and will be required to log 8,000 hours of on-the-job training (OJT) performing HVAC service-related duties as directed during the four-year period.
Selected candidates meeting a grade point average of 3.0 for a respective education level of the program will be reimbursed 100% of the cost of tuition for that level. A grade point average of 2.0 is reimbursed at 50% of the cost of tuition for that level.
